Product Description
The 63A 2P Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is designed to automatically transfer an electrical load between two compatible power sources. It can be used in backup-power systems where a reliable changeover between mains electricity and a generator or other backup supply is required.
Unlike a manual rotary changeover switch, an ATS monitors the available power source and automatically transfers the connected load according to the switch's operating configuration. This helps reduce the need for manual intervention during power interruptions and restoration.
With a 63A current rating, the unit is intended for electrical installations where the connected load falls within the rated capacity of the ATS. It can be suitable for residential, commercial and other compatible applications when correctly installed.
Professional installation by a qualified electrician is strongly recommended. The ATS must be correctly matched to the supply voltage, phase configuration, number of poles, generator capacity and connected load.
