Priming: You must fill the pump housing with water through the priming port before starting. Running the pump dry can permanently damage the internal seals.
Safety: Only operate this machine outdoors. Gasoline engines emit carbon monoxide, which is colorless, odorless, and deadly in enclosed spaces.
Maintenance:
Regularly check the oil level using the yellow dipstick shown in your photo.
Clean the water strainer on the intake hose to prevent debris from clogging the impeller.
Drain all water from the pump body after use, especially in cold weather, to prevent damage from freezing.Â
